Assessor's AgentOur Assessor's Agent is Rick Sands. The Town has recently undergone a revaluation. In 2006, the land values were adjusted to reflect market value. Building value adjustments were reflected on the 2008 tax bills. Questions related to assessments are addressed through the assessment appeal process - which includes completing and turning in the appeal form, meeting with Barbara Cox, the Town Manager, and, if necessary, meeting with Rick Sands, the assessor's agent. Common assessing questions include: - How are mil rates computed?

- When are valuations changed?
- Are there any ways I can reduce my taxes?
