Beginning January 1, 2008, new pricing for items disposed of as well as a new sticker cycle was established. Prior to this date, transfer station stickers followed the town's fiscal year. They are now a calendar year sticker. This new annual sticker will also allow you to "use" your fee to pay for those items which have costs attached to them. These additional fees will be debited against the sticker cost until you have used it up. Only then will you be charged any additional fees.
Single trip passes are also available. Costs range from $ 10 to $ 300 depending on the size of the vehicle. Transfer station stickers are available to Milford residents only at this time. They must be permanently affixed to your vehicle - and you will need a different sticker for each vehicle which you own. The transfer station allows you to dispose of many unwanted items, including: Should you have any questions regarding any items, please speak with the attendant. NO "DUMP PICKING" OR REMOVAL OF ITEMS DEPOSITED BY OTHERS IS ALLOWED. |
