Motor Vehicle registrationsOne reason taxpayers visit town office is to register their vehicles. The Town of Milford is considered a "new registration" agent for the state. In plain English, that means we can issue license plates.
There are several types of motor vehicle registrations which we can process for you. Each requires different documentation in order to complete the transaction.
If the transaction is a transfer or new registration, the person named in the registration &/or on the title must be present.
In the State of Maine, excise tax is part of the cost of registering your vehicle. |

The successful candidate must be able to meet State licensing and certification requirements. The position is a contract position with a one year beginning contract. The position is a contract position, with a one year beginning contract. The average work time will be 20 hours per month. Successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
