Snowmobile RegistrationsSnowmobile registrations expire on June 30th.
To register a "new to you" snowmobile, you must provide the following documentation: - Dealer sale (you purchased this at a dealer who collected sales tax) - you need to provide the "green" dealer certificate showing the make, model, year, & serial number of the snowmobile. This is proof that you have paid your sales tax.
- Private sale - you must provide a bill of sale which lists the seller's name & address, the amount paid for the snowmobile, as well as the make, model, year, & serial number of the snowmobile.
If you purchase a new snowmobile during the registration period and sell one which you had registered in the current registration period, you may transfer that registration. You will need to provide the registration to the snowmobile which you sold and indicate to whom you transferred the snowmobile.
To reregister a snowmobile which was not registered in Milford last year, please provide a previous registration.
Snowmobiles may be registered at the Town Office during normal business hours or online through IF&W's website by clicking on the "MOSES" link.
Please note that snowmobile reqistrations expiring June 30, 2010 will have a new fee. Resident snowmobile registrations have increased to $ 40. |
