BrushIn the past, all "clean wood", brush, and leaves were deposited in the burn cells and the transfer station attendant &/or public works employees burned these items. However, the cost of disposing of the resulting ash has become increasing costly. We will be segregating these items now as follows: - Items which may be chipped - please place clean brush and clean wood(unpainted or unstained & not pressure treated) in the chipping area.
- Finished or pressure treated wood must be placed in the construction & demolition debris dumpster.
- We will not be accepting leaves. You should consider bagging these and either using them to bank your home for additional insulation against winter's cold or mulching them.
Depending on how these items are transported, additional fees may be associated. If these items are transported on a trailer, fees are as follows: - Small utility trailer (less than 2 cy) - $ 10
- Large utility trailer (from 2 cy to 6 cy) - $ 35
- Large utility trailer (over 6 cy) - $ 75
