Town Meeting
Milford operates under a Town Meeting/Board of Selectmen/Town Manager form of government. The inhabitants of the Town are requested to assemble at least once a year to transact the business of the town - including setting budgets, authorizing expenditures, raising revenues, and enacting ordinances. The Town historically has scheduled the annual town meeting in a bifurcated manner, with election of officials taking place on one day and the balance of the meeting taking place on another. 2011 Annual Town meeting will be on Tuesday June 28, 2011 at the Lewis S. Libby School. We will begin with the School Budget articles at 6pm. Town budget articles will follow beginning at 7pm, or 15 minutes after the conclusion of the school budget articles, whichever is later.
