Town Meeting
Milford operates under a Town Meeting/Board of Selectmen/Town Manager form of government. The inhabitants of the Town are requested to assemble at least once a year to transact the business of the town - including setting budgets, authorizing expenditures, raising revenues, and enacting ordinances. The Town historically has scheduled the annual town meeting in a bifurcated manner, with election of officials taking place on one day and the balance of the meeting taking place on another. The annual town meeting for 2009 is scheduled for June 16th at 7 pm at the Dr. Lewis S. Libby School. Elections are scheduled for June 9th from 3pm to 8pm at the municipal building.
